Party Games: Christmas Edition

The holidays are quickly approaching, which means you likely have some holiday parties coming up. I thought it was about time I share some of my favorite Christmas party games that my family has used at various Christmas parties over the years. My family calls this game 'Twas the Night Right Before Christmas Present Pass and here is how we play:
For this game, you will need...
enough gift bags for each party guest
a gift to put in ONE gift bag (in the past I have used an iTunes or Starbucks gift card, nail polish, Lindt Chocolate, Christmas M&M's but you could use any little gift you like).

Prepare all of the bags so that they look the same, but put the present in one of the bags. When the guests are ready to play the game, have them sit in a circle and give them each a gift bag. Once all of the guests are seated and holding a gift bag read this re-written version of 'Twas the night before Christmas. I typically print out the poem from HERE

To give you an idea the poem is re-written to have more 'rights' & 'lefts' in it like this:

Twas the night RIGHT before Christmas when RIGHT through the house,
Not a creature was LEFT stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung RIGHT by the chimney with care,
in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be RIGHT there.

As you read the poem the guests have to pass the present they are holding to the right or left, depending on the direction indicated in the poem. Once you have read through the poem, the guests can open their gift bags and whoever has a present in their bag is the winner!

Do you have any holiday party games that you love?
